Melonfest @ The Howell Carnegie Library

Join your Howell Carnegie Library for the following activities to celebrate Howell's 2025 Melon Festival with the following free activities:

  • Build, explore, and play with “Big Blue Blocks” on the library lawn from 10am to 4pm. 

  • Experience awe and wonder during a magic show on the east side of the library lawn, at three times, so you can choose the most convenient: 11-11:45am, 12-12:45pm, or 1-1:45pm.

  • Capture Melonfest memories at our selfie station with fun props, located in the Reference area from 10am to 3pm.

  • Get artistic and create an Arthur Secunda-inspired collage. Secunda Museum staff will be on hand to guide you, on the Library Lawn from 10am to 3pm. 

  • Don't forget the Friends of the Howell Carnegie Library Melonfest Book Sale, Thursday, August 15 - Monday, August 20! Check our website for times.

No registration required. In case of poor weather, the outdoor activities will move inside with limited space.
