The event is located throughout the Historic Downtown Howell

and features Michigan's largest small town parade.

The Howell Jaycees are proud to sponsor the 1st annual contest for the design of this year's Melon Festival poster.  A $100.00 cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the contest.

2008 Volunteer Information

More than 300 Volunteers work together to make Melon Festival possible. If you would like to get involved, we have a position for you. You can work as little or as much as you like. This is a perfect opportunity for you,  your Club, Service or Civic Organization to do its part in the community.

All volunteers who work a minimum 4-hour shift will be given a free Howell Jaycees  T-Shirt!

Howell Jaycees actively seeking Melon Festival Sponsors

The Howell Jaycees are currently looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor the 49th annual Howell Jaycees Melon Festival. By sponsoring the Festival you help cover expenses for kid’s rides, prizes, activities, courthouse entertainment, Movie on the Courthouse Lawn, Melon Festival Prince and Princess and the general expenses associated with festival.

Being a sponsor of the Howell Melon Festival is a great way to advertise your business while supporting the Community!
