Have you ever wondered about the lovely stone building with the towner across from the Howell Carnegie District Library? In honor of our175th anniversary as a congregation, and 100 years in the sanctuary. Founded on July 7, 1938, the church was housed in two different buildings before the cornerstone was laid for this structure on September 8, 1914. Sidney R. Badgley designed this church. He was a noted architect who had many buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Come and discover the "Akron Place" of church architecture, learn the meaning behind the stained glass and interior painted decorations, and find out if there really is a bell in the bell tower!
