Water Wars is the ultimate way to cool off during the Howell Melon Festival.  It pits you and a friend against each other in an epic water balloon battle using two giant slingshots!  You are guaranteed to be cooled off!

We’re going back to the good ole’ days of soda shops with these classic root beer floats served right on Grand River!  For $3 you can get a tasty root beer float in a signature Melon Festival mug that’s yours to keep!  These floats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis so be sure to come early!  Mugs are available in limited quantities.

Our canine friends needs to stay hydrated too so we're happy to announce the first-ever Melon Festival Doggie Station!  Here all dogs can cool off with a cold drink of water and a treat before heading back to the festival fun.  Check it out on W. Grand River near the Ultimate Air Dogs!

3-D Chalk Artist

One of the biggest hits at last year’s festival is back!  Be sure to check out our 3-D Chalk artist at the four corners of Grand River and Michigan Ave!  He will be working on this year’s chalk drawing all day Saturday and the finished product will be out for all to see the entire  weekend!

Farmer's Market
